Congrats!!!
I've just got home from work to discover that ParcelForce have tried to deliver my 70-300 DO and 17-85 whilst I was out! Now I'll have to wait until tomorrow to collect them from the depot and won't be able to test them until the evening! I NEED THEM NOW!!!
I look forward to seeing some pics from your 70-300 to tide me over until then! :D

Thanks. But in your signature I see a few lenses that make me start dreaming.
But my bankaccount is not dreaming with me. He (or is bankaccount a SHE?)
says that we are on a diet for e few weeks ...  .

Thanks. Like you I'm thinking on buying the 17-85 to. It makes a nice range with the DO. From 17 to 300 with just 2 lenses.
The only thing that is keeping me from buying the 17-85 are the mixt revieuws here. I hear that on the 17 mm side the
pictures are very soft. And then there is CA and PF. But in a few weeks I will use one of the shop here in town and do a few tests.
Tomorrow I will attend a big Summer Tour 2005 here and I will test the DO lens and the other ones. I will post some pictures for you.
Please do the same from your side. From the DO and from the 17-85 please.
I wish you happy shooting and looking forward to your pictures. Ciao ... :) .

Yeah I've read the same things about the 17-85. I decided the best thing was to try it out for myself and if it's no good it'll get sent back.
I'll definately post some pics and I look forward to seeing yours too. :D

Nitsch - As promised I post 2 picture from my new 70-300 DO.
The Atomium in Brussels. For the moment it's bin restored.
Some of the balls are stil a skeleton and some are almost finished.
I like the lens and hope that shortly the weather here will get better
so I can make better shots.

Cool. It looks like the Death Star in Star Wars! :D
Glad you are pleased with the 70-300, mine turned up on Thursday and I did a bit of testing with it and was very impressed, haven't had much opportunity to play this weekend though. In fact I might pop out now! :D
