First Still Life Attempt!

So it was 4am and i was bored out of my mind. I decided to take a few shots of my knife so i set everything up and this is what i got out of it.

Created a little Ad type thing. The reflections are not photoshopped in, theyre real.

I like that. Only pet peeve would make that logo smaller.

Logo just seems a bit too dominant for me.

i pinned a black sheet to my wall then draped it over a tv tray, used a piece of plastic for the reflection. There was a softbox camera left at 45 degrees.

in photoshop i just adjusted the curves and levels. added a gradient to fade out the reflection some. shaprpen and save for web.

Nice images!! I collect Case peanut pattern knives and between polished steel and exibition grade pearl scales I am stll trying to get acceptable images.
