Okay...I guess I just would like some help with posing in general. Can anyone recommend a good website or book that will help me get better at posing?

You say you want to do a couple well if you are brave go to Omen Mills and look around at some of their stuff, study it and when you are ready forget it. For their stuff is so stiff, have your couple to relax and beleive me it will come to you (ok remember some of what you seen and OM studio) after awhile it will be second nature to you. Does any of this make sense???

No matter how many books you read (chances are they didn't read them either) - spend some time talking and getting a feel for their personalities. GET THEM TO RELAX. If they are at ease, they will respond positively to gentle coaxing and the whole thing comes off quite well. An old trick is to set the pose and tell them these are 'practice' shots....Click and you have a keeper most of the time.
Thats why I now shoot horses and not people !!
