Multi Photo Posting

Haven't been in Forum long and want to know why so many posts have multiple photos posted when the attachment file states 2 uploads only? E.W

Not all people attach them to the post, but rather put the images on a web server and link the photos in the post.

lots of us subscribe to photo-hosting sites (i.e. photo.net, pbase, pbase, fotki, etc.) and just link the address of the actual photos.

Not sure if this is what you mean, but I'd rather see similar pics in one thread, than 2 here & 2 there. It cuts down on the number of threads that people have to go through. I spend way too much time here already & seldom go to page 2 to see what's there, even if I've been gone for a long weekend, so for me, more is better. ;-)
