Hey all.

I think we've established that there is no way to change the "IMG" in the file name to numbers on the S2, but this "new folder" thing is driving me absolutely out of my mind.

I was out of town the last couple days, and when I went to download my pictures, it downloaded into 3 seperate folders, seperated by shooting date.

Is there a way to fix it so they all download into ONE specified folder? What a pain.

If you can use a card reader you should be able to copy the files to any folder you wish using Windows Explorer. Just select the files and drag to wherever you want them.

Thanks. I appreciate the advice, but I'm looking for answers on how to change the download folders in zoombrowser as I have no intentions of buying a card reader at this time.

What I dont know is if it's zoombrowser that's forcing them to download into it's own folder, or the camera itself (does the memory card sort by date?). Either way, it's not a big deal. Just a bit on the annoying side (ie. If I go on a 2 week vacation).

On p.17 of the software starter guide that comes with the camera it says - "the downloaded images will be saved into folders according to their shooting date".

So it would seem to be a function of zoombrowser.

You don't have to use ZoomBrowser, just open up My Computer Click on your camera and then just drag and drop. Is that easy, no card reader or anything.

Hmmm... I must've overlooked that. I may revert to a previous version then, if I can't find a way around it..

Thanks, Nancy.
