I own the folllowing lenses: Canon EF-s 17-85 F4-5.6, Canon 70-200 2.8 L IS, Canon 1.4x adapter, Tamron AF 28-200 F/3.8-5.6, and a Sigma 17-70 2.8-4.5 DC Macro. I am using a Canon 20D base. I am trying to figure out what to take with me on a trip to Munich and Salzburg where I will be shooting architecture, street/urban people shots, landscapes. I bought the Sigma thinking it would be a faster replacement for the 17-85. I love ethe 70-200 but it IS very heavy to lug around for hours on end. The Tamron is a lightweight lens with good range but just pales compared to the Canon 70-200. Would you reccommend taking 2 or 3 lenses?
Any advice would be appreciated. I will be using a Temba Knapsack to carry the camera and lenses.

I'd take the Sigma 17-70mm and the Canon 70-200mm

Unless if you absolutely can't live without the telephoto, I would take just the 17-70. If it was me, I would go light, take some nice snaps, and have some fun; vacation first, food second, girls third, and photos somewhere down that list. If you feel like the heavy lens might be a burden, then it probably will.

Yeah, the 17-70 and maybe the 70-200 if you must have the telephoto. Vacationing in Europe is very physical and you don't want to overpack-not only with camera gear, but luggage too. If you can fit all of you luggage including camera gear in one carry on sized bag, that would be perfect. Perhaps stuff an empty camera bag in there for when you go out.
