SX20 IS Successor?

What are the chances that Canon is going to come out with a successor to the SX20 IS in the near future (next few months, say August)?

I was planning to get myself an SX20, but I am now wondering whether I should hold out a little longer, in case Canon comes out with a newer model that addresses at least some of the SX20's shortcomings.

Don't know. This section pretty much concentrates on DSLR. I think yours is the first post about a point and shoot.
