Today at work we caught this happening outside of our building, they were busting cars for not stopping when the undercover officer was trying to cross. This is my first photojournalism type thing, keep in mind I am on the 5th floor and behind glass. For most shots I used my 75 300mm (non IS) without a tripod. Here's how this plays out.

This car doesn't seem to care and speeds by him, forcing him back to the curb, bad call.

:) Glad to see the police are cracking down on these ignorant drivers. They also need to nab the ones that don't stop at stop signs.

That took place in a suburb of Portland in Lake Oswego, Oregon. Everyone at my work was talking about it so I decided to grab my camera and get what I could.

Good to see cops doing something that actually saves lives, nice work. Wish they would do useful things like that where I live!

Great series. The pictures tell the story. I liked your choice of a slow shutter speed to catch the motion of the car wizzing by. Did you notice the police 2 way radio in his hand?
Not exactly the dark suit and white socks, but cops sometimes have a hard time looking civilian.

Thanks, yeah he was pretty good at keep the radio up against his hip when cars were coming so you couldn't tell he had it until he called for the other officer to get the them.
