Hope some of you "experts" out there can help me..
I've been using an EOS3000 with a Cobra 700AF ( with the canon modules) for a couple of years now to take photos for our karate club's website. I've always just used it on full automatic (green rectangle) and had good results.
I recently purchased a D30 'cause I could use my existing lenses and flash (or so I thought).
If I use the built-in flash and the hall is low light the flash icon in the viewfinder blinks and the flash pops up.
If however, I fit the Cobra without changing anything else the shutter speed goes down to between 3 and 10 seconds and it doesn't display a flash icon. If I snap anyway the flash does fire, but the image is blurred.
I don't think there's any problem with the camera, it's more likely my use of it.
Can anyone advise.
I'm going bald anyway, but don't really want to lose any more hair at present.
