i dont know if this has been gone over before, but i think it would be interesting to put regional forums, like usa east coast, west blah blah. you get the idea. so we can discuss places to take pictures, or just to know which members are in our area. just a thought

There are many regions on the world, and everyone might want one. Not a bad idea, if a tidy way to do it can be found.

As I wrote in the original FAQ thread, something I'd like to see is a database where people can add interesting places for photographing.

So, if I'm going to a specific place in the states, I'd like to be able to click my way to it (like Americas > USA > California > San Francisco) and see what people that has been there or live there recommend... like the bridge, the tram line and so on. Maybe with example pictures, and if it's outside of town, a short road description.

If that's something people would find interesting, I'll try to make an examle and see what happens.

And perhaps a co-ordinate that can be used in google earth to view a satelite photo ;)

I think this way is better than adding multiple subforums for each region, because as already said all users would want a forum for their region. I would want one for Denmark, Copenhagen to post my recommendations and so on.
