Here is Taylah at the beach yesterday. She was daydreaming while getting her feet wet. That thing hanging around her neck is a Tamagotchi (Virtual Pet) ... the lastest craze at her school.. it goes everywhere with her.

Beautiful shot Sandi, lovely composition and exposure. Not easy to do with the ocean and blue sky in the background. :)

I haven't thought much of the Pro 1 with its tiny sensor and all. But after looking at pictures from this forum, I had to look into it. Looks like Canon puts L glass in the Pro 1. Wow! Show us more.

Very nice shot Sandi, everything looks spot on.......you must be having nice weather over there, the light is beautiful. Looking forward to seeing some shots with the new camera!

Nice shot.
My daughter just got two of those Tamagotchis and they are dog gone annoying.

I guess even I am old at the tender age of 21, but I thought that craze died off a few years ago. I guess I was wrong.

Yes Grego, this is the latest release of tamagotchi.... its tamagotchi 2, and has infa red connections so you can virtually play with others, and even ummmm have babies!

I like it a lot . You could try adding fill-flash though, so her right side was less shadowy.
It is interesting to see her grow too. It is amazing how fast it goes.

Very nice. You nailed the exposure under harsh sunlight.

Scary isn't it?
Anyway, just stumbled on this thread by mistake again, and just noticed the way she's looking at soemthing. Just curious what it is, lovely expression she's got there.

She was watching our dogs running around on the beach. We have since lost one of our dogs, so all his photos have become very precious!

Oh that's awful. We lost one of ours a year ago yesterday, it's devestating isn't it. Hope you and family are coping somehow.
Just looking at this picture makes me realise how beautiful the Australian cost is, I've really got to visit again sometime soon.
