Not sure honestly. I've come across some rumours that one was due this summer, but don't have any details. I was thinking of buying the 50mm 1.4 so an upgrade to it would be idea, especially for that listed price.
Was wondering if anyone else had come across any other info.

Erm...50mm 1.4 USM has been out for what seems like ages, long before I even had the 50mm f/1.8, Mark I that is
