I'm thinking of buying the Bogen tripod with an accesort head, but the 2 models I'm looking at have 2 different heads to them. One has a 3D head and the other a 3 wya head. What's the difference between the 2?

What tripod are you looking at? Most full-sized (as opposed to tabletop) Bogen tripods that I know of actually don't come with any head unless the store bundles packages together. You buy the legs separately from the head. Can you tell us the model of the tripod and the model of the heads involved? Maybe links to the store's ads?
All the Bogen/Manfrotto stuff (and a lot more in the greater Bogen Imaging company's lineup) is at this link: http://www.bogenimaging.us/ Click on Manfrotto, then look at the listing for further selections.

Yea, it's part of a bundle that B&H is doing. Here is the link for the 3D head bundles:

And here's a link to the one bundle with the 3 way pan head one:

What do you think?

The 3001 leg set is a good general purpose leg set. The 3021 pro series (like my 3021BPRO) has a little more versatility going for it, but lots of folks get by just fine with the 3001.
When it comes to head choices, I'd have to understand what equipment you intend to use, where you want to use it, what sort of photos you intend to make, etc., before being able to suggest a head that I would choose. I don't have either of those or anything like the two you showed. I use ball heads, a mini fluid head, and a geared head for different purposes.

I'll tell you the equipment i have:
Canon Powershot G6
Conversion Lens adapter
teleconverter lense
I plan to get:
wide-angle lense
a flash
I wanted one so I could be able to use it for landscaping, portraits, and night life. I just wanted a head that could basically do all those things, rather than have one for each thing. What are the 3 ones that you just mentioned before?

For your situation, I'd suggest you look at the Bogen 486RC2 ballhead. It's inexpensive, simple to operate, and it works very well for significantly heavier cameras than what you now have.
There's a single lever that you turn to loosen the ball so that you can reposition the camera. Then you merely rotate the lever to tighten it in the position you want.
It has a quick-release mechanism with a plate that you leave on the camera. Once the plate is mounted, it takes a second or so to mount or release the camera to/from the tripod.
The ballhead has a really slick capability that none of the 3-way heads can really do well. If you leave it a little loose, you can hang on to the camera while it's attached to the tripod and swing it any direction you want for action shots, etc. That way you get the support of being on the tripod instead of totally hand-holding the camera, but it can be pointed easily.

Is this ballhead available at B&H? It sounds like it's a good one though. Do you know about its price? I didn't want to spend too much on it all, but I am willing to pay what I need to.

Ok, I had just looked at the price tag, and it looks a bit too much. Are there any other ball heads that would be able to do the sam thing without the larger price?
