I tried cropping and straightening the horizon but then the waves were crooked. I like it this way, but then I like all of the thousands of pictures of grandaughter Caitlin. Comments and suggestions appreciated. This taken with the 17-40 f4/L. I'm gonna sell everything else and get more L's! :)

Very sweet picture Jon, you must be a proud grandfather :) For me the angle is fine too, the horizon not distracting at all.

had to clone in some sky to fill up the right corner... but horizons (under normal circumstances) should be straight... waves can be slanted.
looks better (to me) this way...
just a suggestion.. as asked for. ;)

Thanks. She's 5 1/2 going on twenty-five. Most of my pics are of her.

Thanks. I like this angle too. Didn't think of cloning. My attempt cropped off too close to top of her head. Thanks again.

tilt.. clone.. crop.. frame.. post.. should look fine. :D
.. maybe you could choose a different frame style... then you wouldn't have to clone too much.
