Thoughts please. (Really)
Also, what suggestions do you have for cropping? Thanks! Weather permitting, I'm anxious to try again tonight.

Nice shot! I love the color...
As for cropping, I would think more moon and less black is good.
Maybe crop off some of the black on the left and a little bit less on the right?

Did you take this low on the horizon ? I would personally change it to grayscale which is my personal preference and looks better to me . I agree about the cropping tho , a smaller frame will help it greatly .

Low on the horizon? Not really...I wouldn't say. I don't know anything about astronomy, just like gazing at the night sky, and the moon seemed a good photo op that night.
Image editing is on, do you mind showing me your suggestion(s) for cropping? I tried a rather tight 6 x 6, but that didn't do much for me.

tony this is way over processed :( , too much USM . Thats why it's too bright and the edges are frayed :( .
