Hi, I just purchased the SX20IS. So far I love the camera. Seems to take great pictures. I don't see any problems with pictures but when I shoot video I get a constant white spot on the lower left of the frame. Any ideas how to get rid of this or am I going to have to send it back?

Thanks

Can you post a small video or a link so we can see..

Update: After lowering the resolution for stills I was able to find the white spot on images also.

Is that a crop of a full picture? I will say that you'll find hot/dead pixels being more common at long exposures (that was a 1" exposure from the EXIF data).

I agree looks like a hot/dead pixel you can sometimes have quite a few on long exposures.

Yes it is a crop. After I found it I went and looked at some earlier photos I took with it and its there in all of them. I can deal with it on photos, unless you know it's there you'll never notice it but on videos it sticks out like a sore thumb. Back to Newegg it goes. Hopefully they can get me a replacement before I leave for vacation.
