I dunno if this is the right place to post this, but I really need some help.

I am going to a concert next Wednesday night, and I'm taking my Canon PowerShot SX110 IS with me. It's gonna be an indoor concert, so it will be pretty dark.

I was wondering if any of you guys could tell me the correct settings to set my camera to so I can take good shots. I'm pretty new to photography and this camera, so I really don't know a lot. :/

Thanks! :D

Alex, I have never used your camera or I would, so I would be shooting in the dark . . . figuratively . . . to guess what settings are best with it.

I'm afraid many others are in the same position. If you can find a board of PowerShot users, they may be able to help. You should also check out reviews of the camera as often they will tell you what settings not to use, i.e. what iso has to much noise and what lens range is sharpest.

If you don't know what iso is then you really need to first learn your camera as otherwise it will be like talking to you about your car and you not understand what the gear positions (reverse, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.) mean.

Start by reading the FAQ pointed to from my signature. You'll finish reading it just before the concert.
