Hello, I'm new to this forum. And have a few ???'s to ask if you dont mind answering. First I'm new to photography except for the family photo's and afew still's of nature. A little over a year ago I bought myself a 1/2way decent telescope for viewing of our night sky. Thru other forums I found quite abit of astrophotography images. SO I bought the nessessry accs. for my scope to a canon powershot 80. The images are alright but what I saw from people using more professional camera's were unbeliveable. So now I'm on the hunt for a Canon 20D. One of my ???'s is what typr of lense should I get for the astro shots. and after I take a few where should I post them. I didn't find a forum here for astrophotography.
Thanks

I bought my 300D for use with my Meade 8" LX90. It's a great scope for visual viewing. Everyone I spoke to in my LX90 group swears by the 300D for a first astrophotography camera. You might want to look at a 300D, cheaper and great astrophoto's. I'm waiting on my focal reducer to arrive then I'll be starting with the pics.
