Nice shot. What lens/camera settings for this photo?

My wife teases me about taking the camera with me. It you don't have it, you'll miss opportunities for shots like thies. Keep shootin'.

thanks raj, frank, dale, and cfc. as luck would have it.i was waiting on the homeowner to replace a bad section in his plywood subfloor so i could reinstall his carpet after pulling it up for him.i noticed the egret was real close by on the way to his house.so while i was waiting ,and since i lived close by.i went home, and brought back the camera.
the lens i used was the 75-300IS @300MM ISO 100 F8 1/640Sec AV mode
thanks again everyone for the nice words

I think he would have been more comfortable if you threw a Golf ball at him LOL J/K.
Nice shot and it so much more convienant when the wild life stands and poses instead of fleeing.
