10D in Hong Kong

My ex-boss sold his D60 and ordered a 10D and it arrives today... :)

I got my hands on very briefly and in short, it feels like, as others said, very strudy and well constructed, shutter is quieter and the AF is very fast. I wish I had more time to play around but the owner was busy...

He gets his for (with local warrenty) HKD12,500 but some local stores (like WingShing) sells for HKD12,980. Anyway, it costs more than what US is selling.

It's still cheaper than getting it in Canada... $2499 + 15% tax.....

Official price in EU is ~ Euro 2200 - these are (urggs) 2336 US$, but including 16% tax and 2 years warranty.

Fellows, expect the price to drop, but ymmv. :) I cannot afford one now but who know? :D

FYI, EOS D60 is still available here in Hong Kong but it sells at a price of HKD14,xxx. Go figure!
