hard to capture horisontal and vertical line

I've just bougt ixus v3, but I find something wierd, what I see in the window can't exactly the same with the picture I get.. What you see is not what you get ???

why is that although I take the picture more than 2 meter (I can understand there is problem when we take picture too close)

The picture you get should be the same as what you see on the LCD panel on the back of the camera. It will be different from what you see through the camera's viewfinder.
