Need a lens suggestion

Heading out tonight to do some nighttime photography and taking the sigma 28-70 and the 18-55mm kit lens with me (in addition to assorted others) what I was wondering is if there a lens out there that might combine these two to save me carrying unnecessary glass with me?

Sigma 18-50/2.8 EX

But that would be your third 18-50 lens :lol:

Yeah but I'm also looking to get up to that 70mm range as well. Only my second though to be honest. THe sigma 18-50 doesn't belong to me, but I do have access to it ;)
