\"Error Renaming\" Problem

When I use the Batch Rename command in Breezebrowser I always get an error response, but no files renamed.

To keep my file names short (#.tif), I use Custom Style 1, shown as "%n." But I always get the following message:

Error renaming: C:\Photography\2473595.tif to C:\Photography\01.tif

What's the problem? My goal is to keep the file names short and consecutive.

That works on my XP Pro system, so the only thing I have to suggest is whether the extra period is needed on whatever version of Windows you're using.

Try renaming without starting with a zero.
