B&W Still Life

I Like this photo a lot (even though it is pretty cleche :p ) But I think the ball closest to the camera is too out of focus... Its kind of distracting. Any one else think so?

I agree with what you said about out of focus and distracting very much...for some reason my eyes keep getting attracted to that ball. Maybe if another ball was behind (upper right corner) the 8-ball that would give more perspective too?? Just a thought...cool idea though with the downhill effect.
