First real shot with my newly acquired 20D and 80/20 adapter.
This wasn't meant to be an amazing shot or anything, I just ran into my parent's room and shot this real quick, I didn't even adjust my flash, as you can see it's more powerful on the left side of his face.

Very nice, may be better to crop the top portion a bit, Its not really required.
I like the shallow DOF :-)

Thanks Raj :) Yeah I thought about cropping it, but I kinda like the shape of the picture that way. Maybe I'll at least crop out the speaker / window in the top...

Beautiful shot! I love the cropped version. It's perfect, and congrats on the new 20D! :) It's such an awesome camera. I remember the first few days I had it I just walked around popping off hundreds of frames. Pressing the shutter release is addictive! I'm already up to 10,000 frames and I've only had it... 2-3ish months. Anyway, can't wait to see some more of your work, and hopefully some of the shots you take of those bands! :)
Also, I'm a little curious, what is this 80/20 adapter you've mentioned, and what's it do?

Thanks so much :) Yeah I just keep poppin 'em off just to hear the shutter haha.
The 80/20 goes on top of my flash (550EX), it bounces 80% off the ceiling, and sends 20% to the subject as a fill. It also has other inserts that can be put into it.
