So I was taking some timer shots a few days ago, with the EOS 20D, and I realized I wasn't sure how to take more than one shot at a time. I want to be able to turn on the timer, press the shutter release, and have it take x number of pictures after 10 seconds. Is this possible?
Thanks.

I don't think so, sorry. Canon sells a fancy shutter release cable that will let you do it, it's not cheap but it's meant to be good. Have a look on http://bhphotovideo.com , someone will tell you the name or give you a link some time.

Well, that's disappointing. I found one release cable, but I don't know if it would work or not. That said, it's all right. It isn't something I do alot. It was a spur of the moment, "Hmm, I wish I could" kind of thing. At the same time though, I've had the camera, what, 9 months now, and it's the first disappointment I've had, so I guess it isn't that bad...:)

That's a nice remote!

You may be able to fake it out by using AEB and white balance bracketing with minimal deviations configured. You'll have to take the camera's number of shots (3 for AEB, 3 for white balance, and 9 with both), and you'll need to watch out for the buffer.

The TC-80N3 is great for night photography, and time lapse photography.

Check out the cool stuff this guy did with time lapse:

That's incredible, looks awesome...
I might have to end up buying that remote, as astrophotography is one of my other big interests, and I''ve heard it mentioned.
That's one thing about almost every camera I've owned in my life (which really, isn't that many, but still), why is there no 'infinite' exposure time? Every camera has Bulb, which of course is, hold the shutter down by the button or remote, and it will be as long as you do that. But why not put in a function where the shutter stays open between button presses as well?
Just to sell the remote?
