Lovely. The castle is still on my wish-list to visit... once. (But now I just returned from my holidays in Austria-Karnten, so this 'll have to wait ...)
Maybe, if you like photoshopping, you could try to lighten the castle a little bit such that it becomes more white. That would make it even more fairy-like to me. Well, just a thought.

Great picture. My wife and I will be visiting Germany this fall, and will hopefully get some great pictures like this.
If you don't mind I have a few questions:
What were the shot settings?
How much cropping was done?
Thanks,
epolevne

That is one of my major destinations for the future, I have a thing for castles, and that is certainly one of the greatest ones in existence. Beautiful shot, great weather. Nice work!

I've always loved this castle, and that's an excellent shot of it!

Thankyou for all the good comments.
As I was on a holiday that involved some mountain walking, I took my Digital Ixus 400 rather than my EOS 350d. As I am a great believer that the composition is more important than post processing the shot is pretty much straight from the camera with only a levels tweek and batch framer.
