Well I bought some lighting from a member here... thank you Todd.

got me 2 160w strobe flash units, backdrop, stands and all the other goodie stuff

here is one of the first pics i did with it.. still learning all the controls on the camera and adjusting the lights

could always use some tips for shooting inside with this type of lighting set-up

Great start! Congrats on the new equipment! My general tips/personal learning philosophy...

1) Find photos of others that you like and figure out they were lit. Before asking how they did it, take a guess on what you think their setup was, then ask.
2) Be your own biggest critic. Don't ever be 100% satisfied....
3) But, remember the things that you've done well, even when they happen by accident! And repeat these things next time while improving something else.
4) Have fun and never stop learning!!!
