Hello
I went of to Thailand for two weeks, on week going on a tour in middle and north of Thailand and one week south of Bankok.
My equipment was:
D60 with 35-350L and 28-80/2.8-4.0L Canon lenses and a EOS 3 as a backup.
For storage I had nine 1GB Micro drives and for backup a Digital Wallet (20GB) and a Tripper (40GB).
----------------------------------------------------------
The D60 worked well, no problem. Did regular backup to the two digital wallets I had with me.
Humidity wasn’t a big problem, after 10-20 minutes going from the cool hotel out in the morning fog and warm weather the lens and camera was ok to use.
On day 5, after about 800 pictures, the Digital Wallet fell out of my bag on to the floor at the hotel, the disk no make a click noise and the Digital Wallet doesent boot at all.
The Tripper had worked ok the whole time, I kept the Tripper (and the wallet) in my checked in luggage, and carrying my micro drives in my camera bag to secure that at least I have one copy that wil work and not stolen if I lost my camera bag.
So my tips to You is to keep backups and think that if You copy and the erase a memory card and the drop or lose Your digital wallet then You may have lost all You have.
