EOS1DS reading red

Is anyone having difficulties with your Ds reading red, especially in the highlights. I am having a loss of pixels in the highlights in a studio enviornment using Speedo heads with a Octa light with a color temp reading @ 4800K & the WB set at 4800 as well. I am having the same issue with tungsten light & WB set to tungsten. This problem is causing me to shoot film in the interim. Canon has been no help at this point. An $8000.00 camera????
