I have been struggling with what is the best resolution to use when converting my images from RAW to TIFF. I currently use YARC+. I would like to have the best quality possible. I have noticed that if I set the resolution very high say 600 pixels per inch the image size for print tends to me small.
Any guidance would be appreciated.

The resolution is irrelevant to conversion quality, but as you have noticed it does affect print size. Whatever DPI settings you use in Yarc+, you will get an image with the same pixel dimensions and same quality.
What affects quality with Y+ is turning on ARF1 or ARF2. With low ISO (200 and less), ARF2 will probably work best.
Changing the DPI affects the physical print size of the image as it specifies how many pixels your printer will try to squeeze into an inch. The optimum setting will depend on what printer you use. For my Epson 2000 I use 240; 600 is almost certainly overkill and will just waste ink.
