It's been a while since I've posted anything because of work -- not having the time to take many photos and, when I do, not having the time to do anything with them.

However, I just finished a big project and had a few hours to post a new gallery -- Car Parts. Here's one of the photos...

http://www.kleptography.com/images-carparts/mg_fender/crw_8575ccr2b-1024us100.jpg

You can simply go to www.kleptography.com and find Car Parts fourth down on the list. With the exception of the last picture, it's populated with classic MGs, but with so many luxury and high-performance cars in Hong Kong, I can only assume the gallery will grow.

Cheers,

Don

Right on Don! I looked through them all. The reflection of the hi-rises are great. I've done something similar last summer and will be updating this summer at our annual show'n'shine.

Great show.

Bang on re exposure, sharpness, DOF.

Interesting reflections.. and (if my memory serves me right) orange is the complement of blue!

And here I thought this was somehow original. :) (Ok, not really.)

Thanks for taking a look -- obviously the reflections are helped by having plenty of tall buildings around.

Your shots are great, as well.

Cheers,

Don

Hi, Marie,

You picked my favorite reflection as well, although it's confusing enough for some people that they like the more straightforward reflections. Shows we're both a little warped. :)

Nice of you to take the time to look around. There are a few new shots at the ends of "Stockpile" and "Places."

Cheers,

Don

Hi Howie,

Nice to be around again and to hear from you. Thanks very much... and I believe you're right about the complementary colors, but that's just from memory.

Cheers,

Don

really enjoyed reading and looking at your latest photographs in 'places' and 'stockpile' don

I'm in good company if its to be that 'warped ' describes my taste
you were probably on security cameras while waiting for the meeting to start re taking the 'clock' picture.
warped will be wiped out by a new word for what you must have looked like, while waiting patiently for that red glow to come round
I have lots of favourites, the elevator one is most definitely one. unusual and again I can imagine the scene as you tried to get it
saw the teddy bear shot again.
its a beautiful bear
I never heard of a durian (but you explain thanks)
have got over 100 of those little vans in different shapes, mostly that size
and I love that sunrise you captured
(one of the older pictures)

I do like the girl ad. beside 'apartment for rent'
and laughed at your title 'pigeon' > what you said.
it could be called 'pigeon holed'
no, I was looking for holes in that anchor
( to allow for that title )
but it wouldn't add anything ,
would only cause confusion
and 'warpedness' maybe , in others
- looking for the holes -
'off the cuff' kind of shots are always nice
and interesting

like you say in another picture.....
'there is more to fishing then catching fish'
same with photography
why I enjoyed your stories and pictures very much

best wishes
marie
