Heard of Smith-Victor PG250S Wireless?

I was looking for a slave strobe and ran across this and was wondering if anyone has heard of them or better yet tried them?

Smith-Victor has been around for a VERY LONG time and is a VERY REPUTABLE company.
Although I personally have not used this specific Slave Flash, I have used others specifically made by The Morris Company. I like the Morris Slave Flashes better due to the 180 degree light pattern. But they also make some like this one you showed.....

I own a few Smith-Victor items and they have always made good stuff. However this unit looks like it might be too small to be of much use. There are plenty of reviews on it at B&H, which is probably going to be youre best bet for getting ownership info on it as I doubt many here have tried it. For $23 why dont you just buy it and give it a try. You can always return it if you dont like it and even if you couldnt, whats $23? Not like its a $400 580 EX II!

I'm not quite sure what people think this light does, but think of it as a "wink" light.....
It's good for putting into small spaces to give separation.

Yea I imagine its just a really mini flash. Kinda like a cell phone flash but not a constant on and prob a bit brighter.

For the $23 I ordered it. I will spend that at Starbucks for a couple Grande Vanilla Chai Latte and coffee cakes..for me and my wife. I figured I cant really loose.
