Changing Name of Camera

Hey,
This isn't really important as are some of the other questions that have been posted but I was wondering if there is a way to change the name of my s230 when connected to a computer.
For instance you can rename it after connecting it when downloading your images but the next time that you conenct it it doesnt save that name that you gave it before.

if anyone knows how to change the name permanently that would be great.

You can permanently change the owner name imprinted on the camera, but the camera model that comes up as a name on the computer is hardwired into the camera as far as i know.

hmm, nuts. Yea, it sounds like that might be true. My external hardrives name that comes up can be changed so I thought that this camera might allow the same thing... Oh well. if anyone knows please post... if not its not a problem
