This was actually in a sandpit in the garden, but I thought I should get some photos before it's all dirty and full of grass and mud!

Hmm - it looks a little soft - that was the resizing - ok, uploaded a slightly sharper one - but this one really suffers when being resized :(.

Thanks PhotosGuy! I guess I'm shooting so much at the moment, I'm bound to get some keepers :)

Nice picture. It makes me want to check my shoes for sand.

Hehe, thanks ryno4youth - my son adores playing in his little sandpit, but since he's started, the sand has started to migrate, via the grass all over the house :) Still, it's made for some fun pictures - if slightly worrying for my unprotected 300D and kit lens! Maybe that's a good enough reason to upgrade to a 1D and a 17-40L?

Thanks Learner - one of the reasons I like it is that you could take it with any camera, and doesn't need L glass (although I guess that the grains of sand would be that little bit more defined, so if anybody wants to donate me a 17-40L ;))

It does look cool. You cant go wrong with babies feet.. I have a 1 year old boy and cant get enough of him!

Thanks boomerang, johneric. Yup, babies are great - yes you can go for cheesy smiley shots etc, (for the family album we have loads), but they're an endless source of fascination, watching them learn and explore :).
