Went out shooting today and shot 227 raw images( about 2 1/2 Microdrives) and the low battery warning started to flash, I turned the camera off for a while and it came back showing full. Anyway, i don`t feel as confident with this Ni-M hybrid as i did with the Li-ions of the D60 with the grip I never ran out of battery. Temp was around +5 c BTW.
i`m leaning towards a spare battery(although to be honest I only have 3 Microdrives) and at nearly £100 it aint cheap but if your shoot was spread over a whole day then you might find yourself in trouble.
On the subject of a spare battery, I suppose no one is offering a compatable clone yet??
Out of interest when buying things like hands free indoor phones i always go for those that can take rechargable AA`s but with these digitals you don`t get the choice.
