Cool shots.....I'm looking to do something similar soon, since I got into guns it has had my interest to photog this.

Did you PP the rounds path in the 2nd photo? Can you post your EXIF?

No that isn't from PP, it's actually how it was captured. The only PP I did was brighten and sharpen it slightly. I shot it with my 30D and my 100 mm 2.8. F3.2 1/639 ISO 400 Continuous shooting mode.

Thanks guys.

Thanks guys. I think it's actually 33 rounds, but it's my best friend's so I could be wrong. I got that shot while he was emptying the mag as fast as he could pull the trigger. Out of 200 pics, those 2 were the only to show muzzle fire.

Gotta love the Glock action shots. I own a G23 myself and they are great!

I had the 33 round mag for my G19 and boy let me tell you, that's an easy way to go through half a box of ammo in about 40 seconds. It was even worse when I had it loaded in my Keltec Sub2000 - I could go through 33 rounds in about 20 seconds

Although you know I didn't realize Glocks spit so much fire. I guess it makes sense though. Nice timing on these shots by the way

Thanks! Yeah, it's mostly the compensated barrel I would think.

We shot quite a few rounds through a sub 2000 that day also. Yeah, the Kel Tec + the 33 round mag + a mag quick loader = expensive :)

Cool shot but if Im not mistaken federal law mandates that magazines may hold no more than 9 rounds and no weapon shall bear more than 10 (one in the pipe) without changing magazines. I remember getting a bit chapped when this was passed as I had not long beofer purchase a ruger P85 that had a 15 round magazine and I had to return the magazines to retain my permit and get 9 round mags.

I dont think its federally mandated. It varies by state. I live in VA and my Beretta has a 17+1 capacity.

Was with a friend of mine, who had a brand-new 30rd mag for his G19. He finished loading it up, (finally, it took a while), and handed it to me. I told him, "If your attacker is too close to you, forget about the gun, just whack him over the head with this!"

He started shooting, about 3/4 through the mag, his arms sagged, "This thing gets heavy!"

It's cool to see a compensated one, I have yet to see one in person. I could never shoot a 30 rd mag, I get to pulling that trigger too quick with only 15 rds!!!

It's a 33 round mag designed for the Glock 18 (which is a selective fire (can be fully auto) variant of the G17 and will fire 1100-1200 rounds per minute (which means that 33 round mag will be like a very short burp)).

I have a couple of the 33 round mags. They work well in the G19 and the G26 in addtion to the 17 and 18.

Is a great way to run through a lot of ammo very quickly.

I love the 2nd picture as well. Great capture.

FWIW, I believe the 10 round limit was part of the 1994 Assault Weapon ban. It expired in 2004, and hi-cap weapons and mags again became legal.

Nope, you are mistaken, but being that you live in NJ, you are stuck with that law. Most other states are free.

That would be a State law. There are no Federal laws limiting magazine capacity. (Anymore)

It depends on where you live. Some states are more gun friendly than others. CA, MA, HA, and NJ are the most strict. AZ, TN, TX, and FL are some of the most free. The 10 round rule you speak of are restricted magazines. You can have 10+1 in the pipe even in the most strict states. I like to call them low capacity magazines :).

Depends on the state, southern states , amound otheres, you can walk around with machine guns, here in NY you would be doing 1-3yrs with that set up!
