This is my Mom. She hates photos because she really doesn't like her 'chin'. I see that I could have put in total shade but for some reason, this looked good through the lens.

Suggestions and methods to correct? I have PS 6 and Elements 2.

What's wrong with her chin, looks fine to me. Your mom shouldn't worry about her photos she is lovely. Good picture on your part.

I agree with mak8ce. If anything maybe a little fill flash to highlight the shadows.

Very nice photo of an attractive woman, she looks relaxed actually and you've captured her well.

It's funny how we're our own worst critics, eh? Your mother is a very attractive woman with no flaws at all. Just leave the picture as is. ;o)

If it ain't broke don't fix it. This photo ain't broke. And neither is your Mom's chin. She is a very attractive lady and you've captured her well here.

What Titus said.
The bits of sunlight give her cheeks a nice, healthy glow.
Nice job!

Deine Mutter ist verrückt. (she's crazy).

Have to echo Curtis & agree with Titus, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". It's a great shot!!!

Ya. But in a good way.

Tell your mother her chin is fine. And that you used a pose which didn't accent the chin at all, so even if it weren't fine, it would be fine.

I might've tried using a reflector to help warm/light her face, but this is good enough to go to an 11x17, framed, and put on the mantel. Well done...

Best-
Noni
