Can we buy sort of like camera rain coats to fix over the 350D so that rain wil not get inside if it starts raining???

Yes, you can buy a raincoat for your camera. Alternately you can buy a 1 series, which is weather proof.

I shoot in snowy weather a lot, and it has virtually no effect on the camera unless it is sticking to the front of the lens. In a light rain mist, I would not worry about it too much until the rain drops start seeping into the cracks and joints of the camera body. If I am shooting in rainy/misty weather, normally I lay a cloth bandanna over the camera to absorb the drops. If the rain turns into a downpour, then you need a major camera rain cover.
For a major rain cover, I use a shower cap.

The rain covers start on page 38. I like these because they largely clear and you can see your camera

That I want to see a picture of..... :)
That will be difficult, because my camera is under the shower cap.

ROFLMAO ... "ghetto mod" ... first time I've heard that expression but it is marvelously self descriptive!

Shower cap really does work. Used one in Bermuda on a scooter when I got caught in the rain. Took it from the ship when we went to the beach "just in case".

LastLine ... only if you're a woman! If you're a guy it's normal perversion!

wooo.. I guess I better clarify some things before people start wondering... the RainCover is actually a weird idea of mine as a joke for protection against rain and flood. I haven't really tested it out becuase it was very hot and hard to breathe.. (YES, it is me in that... hehe.. :) )
As to responding to Dwight's response, I am referring to the movie played by Leslie Nielson in The Naked Gun, Police Squad. Literally.
Well, the thought is funny though. :)

there bulletproof vests don't look so bad either. the groin protector seems like a good investment.

I use a clean garbage bag. Big enough for the camera, lens and tripod. ;) And it's cheap too.

Glad you liked it. I posted this before because many times members take things too seriously. I hope I put some smiles or even laughter to some people.

wasn't there a thread on here somewhere about making a camera cover and using a razor to cut the bag on the front of the lens so that the only part of the camera that got wet was the front of the filter. that's what I do and it works great
