I got the EF-S 60/2.8 Macro last week, mostly for fun with flowers and bugs and stuff, but thought I'd try it out as a portrait lens. The shorter working distance compared to the longer macro lenses, which many think a disadvantage, is actually helpful in using this lens for people. This shot of my boys was taken from about five or six feet, with a 420EX on a Stratos bracket. What do you think?

Great shot!

Looks like one of the boys got his hair "cut"!
