Formula Drift Round 4 was last weekend at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, Washington, I was lucky enough to be accepted into media and had a blast shooting. Went last year but this year was even crazier.
Shot using a Canon 7D with 70-200F4 L, Sigma 18-50 2.8, and a Sigma 10-20.

Hi, I'm from SmugMug.
The photos aren't showing because you have external links set to 'off' in your gallery settings (I checked 'em)... go to the gallery, then tools>gallery settings and set external links to on and all will be well, I promise :D
ETA: Which I see you've done, and now the images show.

I'm always surprised when I hear they are doing drifting there. That is one of the dirtiest tracks I know of. Lots of debris. My brother in law used to race school buses there and always complained about junk tearing up the tires.
Great job on the images. I think 1 and 6 are my favs.

Thanks man, and ya, Evergreen is even talked about by the FD staff as the roughest track on the circuit. Tires get chewed up like none other, but it makes for some great smoke! :D

I kinda like #3 but I dont think I like your post processing- things look oversharpened to me

I agree. The processing is taking away from the photos IMO.

I understand it sets you apart and gives you a 'style' but honestly when the photos are so dark and you can't make out details in the bumper, or in some it looks like a big dark spot in the middle of the car, it just is not all that appealing.
I know it sounds harsh but I think you are missing out on some details in the shots. Some don't even look like they have wheels or tires. You can still have a nice feel and have a 'style' and still have details shown in the photos.

Very nice photos & cars, especially the sparkle on the cars in #7 !!

Good shots but I'm seeing a lot of blue cast in the photos either from your processing or the smoke from the rubber throwing off the WB. I second what dinan is saying as well the photos are quite dark that it's pretty hard to make out much detail on the car.

I wish I could see your screens, The editing does stretch the photos a bit and I was shooting into the sun for about half the event, that would explain the harsh shadows that are on some images. But that's the look I was going for, gritty-poppy-darky. Thanks for the critiques.
Now that I look, all of those were into the sun, let me know what you think of this one, sun behind me.

That last photo is better. As said I wish it was just more natural looking.
