HI fellas ...

I find people asking to produce motion blur on A40 ... I would like to ask how NOT to produce motion blur instead. I find that when I take pictures of moving objects, esp in lower than normal lightings, I get motion blur. I think it sucks, cos I cannot control it. Unless I use flashlight, which makes the pictures rather flat. I have only been able to reduce motion blur, but not eliminate it... Any suggestions?

I don't own an A40 so i can't give exact directions, but use a bigger iso speed, or a larger aperture, or both at the same time.

hmmm... bigger aperture helps? havent tried the iso thing, but bigger iso increases the grainy effect.. i have to use it in the manual mode? havent not mastered that mode yet =P cannot even take a normal pic with that yet, hehe.. anyway , thanks will try it the first thing when i reach home today ^_^

tried your method. it improves the lighting, and increases the shutter speed... but still can get motion blur.....lesser of course. thanks ^_^ any more suggestions? cos i hope to eliminate it ...

The slower your shutter speed the more still your subject needs to be. If you are shooting stationary objects use a tri-pod.

Yep, have a tripod for still objects. more concerned with moving objects, e.g. kids
