Good shot, Kenny. Looks just like the one blocking the road today as we drove out into the boonies. Except, ours had drool hanging down about 12 inches.

The best way to capture black fur on any species is to get the sun shining on it, and you did just that. You captured the detail in the black animal without blowing out the background. Nice shot!

Thanks guys. Thanks Curtis for that info. I had not really thought about it, but just did it by instinct I guess. I got serveral others (brown and b&w) at that same session. I was actually shooting some other things, but then the cows showed up. :)
