I just hope I was able to capture the splendor of it all. I spent the
some time in northern MN in early July and while there the weather was
varied and spectacular. It was a wonderful photographic odyssey that
afforded a number of opportunities. Montana has the Big Sky moniker but
I think JuneBerry could just as easily vie for such a title, at least on
this day. The sky was alive with color and the clouds seemed painted
in wide wonderful strokes.

The rainbow was a nice surprise. I was busy watching the rain move across the fields and was focused on capturing the dramatic clouds and lightining. At one point I remembered the 180 rule and turned around to see what I was missing and there it was. :-)

When I was out shooting these pics I was by myself. Standing out in the middle of nowhere watching the drama of the skies unfold made me feel very insignifigant. The beauty, and the power and the grandeur of Mother Nature can do that at times, I am just glad that I was fortunate enough to be a spectator. :-)

Spectacular comes to mind.
I'm starting to scare myself. I can now tell when an "L" has been used without asking and I want one :(

 Hehehe, that's funny!
I'm better looking than the other Kevin Smith though!
Although he does have more money for "L" lenses than I do... and he's a bit older. (5 years on me.)
