As the sign says "4 generations" Don't really think it's changed all that much

They do have another building, just as old as this one by the looks of it, that they do bigger logs.

I think it is so great that you are out capturing the view from your neck of the woods, Sandy. A lot of what I see are pieces of America that are going to be gone one day. I am not that great at landscape and scenery (yet) so I really enjoy your posts. I love this!

Thanks all for the great comments. I love taking photos of the area around where I live. I'm trying to photo as much of the old barns and buildings as I can before there gone forever. Maureen You should try some landscape or buildings in your area. Based on the photos you have posted I'm sure you will do great.

KeneyC asked if I had more, well not sure if these count, they were taken a couple of years ago at Old Sturbridge Village in Mass. it's a totally restored village of colonial life in New England

As oon as we get out of this 23 day heat wave, Sandy, I am going to try to shoot some of the homes built in the 1800's that have been restored in our downtown area. It has been 100-109 degrees here forever and doesn't even cool off at night. Yuck!

Thanks Karen, KeneyC, and Maureen. Maureen I can't wait to see your photos on the restored old houses. We've had a miserable summer this year also high 80's and 90's and very high humudity yuck :(
