So I've been reading and finding out about High Dynamic Range imaging. I think I've got the idea of it, but not too sure how to go about the editing. I'm flying out to California on saturday for 4 weeks and will be taking tripod with me and going down to things such as Hoover Dam, of which I'd love to get an HDR shot at night.
So how does HDR work after you've taken the -2/0/+2 exposure shots of the same scene?

Well yeah, quite haha; but I was looking more for any pointers that might be of value when attempting to do HDR? I'll be using Aperture as well

There is a fair bit of discussion on this here http://photography-on-the.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=130
Generally, people are using PS, Photomatix, or their post-production software of choice.
I am not completely sure of your question ... are you asking about workflow?
