Sterna Paradisaea 17-40&70-200 4L

This timid bird was shot with 17-40 f4L less than 2 meters away and 2nd shot next morning at the very same place with 70-200 f4L .

Must be a good fishing spot. I love the bright red feet and beak, makes a great contrast with the black/white/grey. Good shots.

Very nice work on the exposure on the first shot, very sharp but you controlled the dark and light areas very nicely here. This is one shot though that fill would have helped give the eye more detail as a dark eye in a dark mask is pretty hard to see clearly but you can see it on the top image pretty clearly. The second image more of the white are blown out.
