EF 200 mm f2.8 sure is sharp

Hi All

Got my self a new lens EF 200 mm F2,8 and I love it, Took this picture hand held of Erith church that is about 2 miles away on the other side of the river Thames, all what they say about this lens is true it sure is Sharp :D :D :D :D

Yeah the 200 L outresolves the sensor, it's an amazing lens, in a reasonably small volume too! I also think it's a bargain, it's quite cheaper than the 135, at least here in europe.

NIce and sharp pic! I'm considering to get 200mm or 135mm f2 for stage photography and traveling. Does this f2.8 have wide enough aperture to shoot in music halls? The 135mm has even f2 but may not have much advantage in focal length over my 100mm macro. (Of course the perfect answer is to get both 200 and 135!)

It's the sharpest lens I have and love it, also use it with EF1.4 and can't say I notice any loss of quality either.
