Sorry! Tokina is not distributed or service supported in Canada. You will have to order from the U.S. I know this for sure as I was looking to buy a 24-200 last fall and there is no distribution or dealer network in Canada. (Sounds like an opportunity for somebody doesn't it?) Now don't let that disuade you from getting that Tokina! Terrific lens' Great Value. Built like a tank, as they say. I purchased one from the "buy and sell" at www.fredmiranda.com. I really don't care if it's distributed in Canada or not, since that would make the pricing two high. Buy new from B&H in New York and return it to them in the unlikely event it need service. I will definitely be buying the Tokina 12-24 F4 as soon as I can scrape up the cash.

Heard that the Sigma 10-20 is a great lens too. What do you think?

The Sigma as well as the new Canon are both good, but more expensive than the Tokina.
With the Tokina you are actually paying less for something better. If you must buy locally then forget the Tokina.

There is a store in the Junction called DV-Shop.
They import from the U.S. and have the lenses in stock.
Phone number: 416-604-1492.
There is no support in Canada for Tokina lenses so if you have problems you have to ship to the U.S. repair depot.
Also, if you're looking for the Sigma lens, get the 12-24.
It is full frame compatible and available locally or much cheaper in the US (Sigma4less).

wow - dug up an old thread, think the OP might have made a purchase by now...
Funny that tokina don't support and sell in Canada, its the same in the UK, Jessops and other chain stores don't stock them, only online shops

Forget the Tokina.

This sigma is pretty awesome and because its an EX series lens it comes with a 10yr warranty if you buy it at henrys.com or in store.
