My mom recently purchased an A520. She was taking pictures at my baby shower this past weekend (indoors), and a lot of her pictures have a bunch of noise in them. She was on full auto. Does this camera automaticly select the ISO???? I had a G3, it never did that. What else besides high ISO (and long exposure) can effect the noise? I dont have her camera with me, so I am unable to see the image info.
Any help would be great...Any ideas.

well don't use auto, just use P, and shoot @ lowest ISO possible. up it to 100 or 200 if there is bad light conditions only. also remember to use exposure compensation...

Yes, the auto mode let's it choose EVERYTHING automatically. it's kinda lousy at times. ask her to try it in one of the creative modes P, Tv, Av, etc...
